It’s hard to move on from past hurts. Here are some tips that can help:

2. Make the choice to move forward and come up with a plan that minimizes the chance of the situation reoccurring
3. Forgive each other and choose to find joy both in the present and future
This is very true and it can sometimes be very hard to forget even though we may forgive š

You’re right. For a relationship to move forward both need to discuss the problem, choose to move on, and work together as a team to prevent the situation from reoccurring. Forgetting may not be possible, but both spouses should focus on rebuilding.
