Honeymoon Destinations

Would you like to revisit your honeymoon destination with your spouse?

After being married for 12 years, my husband and I have decided that we would love to revisit our honeymoon destination. We had visited Paris, France for 5 days and then returned back home. While we had a great time, experienced jet lag, and visited many museums, including the Palace of Versailles, we would love to go back and experience it again, but see more of the countryside this time. We have grown in our tastes, matured, and love variety.

Would you recommend the same place you visited to another couple who is about to get married?

  1. I started to say no because we were young and penniless but I thought a minute and decided we were exactly where we wanted to be…in each others arms with God’s blessing. And here we are 47 years later. It’s a good place.

  2. Yes! We went to the Smokey Mountains and stayed for 5 nights in a tiny one bedroom cabin, with a back porch swing and hot tub and it was literally in the middle of nowhere. There is so much to see, and we would love to go back again for another anniversary. The options were endless, from hiking, mini putt, sight seeing, trying new restaurants, visiting the Dixie Stampede, discovering a hole in the wall record store, walking through western stores, and seeing all the tourist shops was exciting and enjoyable. Ordering pizza and eating it in our cottage was absolute blast to get away from the town life.
